This book is for tired parents who would like to sleep without their 3 or 4 (or 5 or 6 or 7?) year old without hassle. I received it as a gift and have now given it as a gift. Those folks are singing my praises!! (It's really Marcia Riley who deserves the praise!).

The Pillow Fairy is such a neat and original twist reminding me of the tooth fairy, which suggests a great way to teach children to sleep on their own.The illustrations are wonderful and bright, the pages well prepared and organized, and the story captivating to both children and adults.I recommend this book to all, young and old, as it will make anyone smile - with hope, excitement, memories or simply enjoyment.

-I may be biased because I know the illustrator personally, but The Pillow Fairy is a perfect little book. It's a simple story about a boy who learned that he could sleep all by himself in his own room, with the help of some very clever and loving parents. The illustrations are wonderful to look at, with a certain manga influence that brings color and tidiness and pleasing lines to every page.
